Beautiful trailer for an equally beautiful story with all it's struggles and joys captured in such a way that the reader is fully engrossed, longing for more. My only regret is that the sequel isn't yet available for purchase. Buckets of tears on that little factoid, let me tell ya! So please, dearest publisher, hurry it up! :o)
I loved the book! Francine has an amazing gift of storytelling that can't be described. I felt as if I was in the book the whole time,experiencing the hurts, joys, and feelings of the characters. Thank you!

I just stumbled across this book at the local Christian bookstore and started to read it today.
Francine did such an incredible job describing Switzerland, the area of the Bernese Oberland. I grew up there and have lived half of my life there. It is very accurate.

My granddaughter introduced me to "Redeeming Love" and I became a Francine Rivers fan! (I then read "The Last Sin Eater" and got the movie) Will this be made into a movie? I hope! Everyone should have the privilege of viewing and absorbing all the inspirational lessons from these wonderful books.
I plan to use some of my birthday (today) cash gift to buy "Her Mother's Hope," and movie if one follows.

i just finished the 2nd book-Her Daughters Dream-(which i received an advance copy) This is the most wonderful series of books that I have ever read! A truly epic saga of the relationships between mothers and daughters, mistakes and the grace of God. I cannot express the feelings I am left with as I finish Martas story and legacy. A must read for all mothers and daughters.

I have loved your books for I don't know how long. God brought each one at a time when I was ready to learn the truths that He had imparted to you. We did your women of the Bible as Sunday school material for several years. I own many of your books and love Leota's Garden the best....well, until now.
I bought Her Mother's Hope for my dear sister. She read it and proclaimed it as "unbelievably good" and said that I would have to read it, she sent it in the mail. She didn't tell me too much about it but said there were some neat things that were like our own. We were raised in the San Jouquin valley; our Dad raised almonds, grapes, and bees on his Dad's farm. I went to Merritt and graduated in 1963. Fun.
Then I read it (all in one day) and was blown away. When my sister and I talked about it then, we both cried. So much of Marta and Hildamara's story has unbelievable tie-ins with mine, spiritually, emotionally, places, and events. My grandmother came from Canada. My grandpa took the money my mother had saved to go to school to pay the taxes. I was a very fearful child, sickly from birth, so attached to my mother. Another close tie was that my auntie trained at Merritt in 1943-45. When I talked to my daughters about the book, Susan said we must have a connection somewhere. :) Well, this I know.....we have our dear Saviour as a connection and that, as in the past, your story will impact the woman I am now in ways I dont even know.
