Earth Psalms - October 2010

Roots anchor a plant.  They draw water and nutrients from the soil and store as well as transport it to the plant.  The looser the soil, the more the root system can spread, improving the plant’s performance and ability to survive during dry season or drought.  As the roots become healthy and heavier, they have a greater capacity to absorb more water, oxygen and nutrients from the soil.

Our God-given faith roots us in Christ.  As we study His Word and trust in Him each, we receive all we need.  The living water flows into us through Him, sustaining, instructing and making us grow stronger in faith so that we can endure whatever comes.

Ephesians 3:14-19
